Some more confirmations!

February 19th, 2007

We now have some more lectures confirmed: Jeff Waugh and “The Rasterman” Carsten Haitzler have just confirmed their presence at Bossa, as well as Leonardo Santagada (PyPy) and Chris Pinkham (MythTV). Our programme is pretty much final now! Stay tuned for some tips for your Bossa days. :)

Alternative accommodation

February 9th, 2007

We have been asked about alternative and cheaper accommodation quite a few times this week. Yes, porto de Galinhas is a very popular beach, and as a result prices can vary a lot, mainly at summertime.

So we are doing some research in other B&Bs nearby and  starting a list of alternative accommodation (including hostals, camping etc.). So if you’re still deciding whether to come or not because of a clean and affordable place to stay, please check the accommodation section! We found a reasonably priced hostal and are still looking for good deals for you.

Nice weekend everyone!

The Bossa weblog is on!

January 23rd, 2007

Hi All!

As our website has mainly static information, we created a blog so we can give some highlights, news and details on what is going on, as well as creating a space where everyone can interact through comments or even posting here (through our feedback channel).

Hope this can be really useful for you who’s seeking some extra info!
